mobile technology?

hi i was wondering, can we develop a technology which gauges human activity and accordingly becomes active or deactivce. Meaning if a doctor is in a procedure, can the mobile automatically be in a busy mode and when the doc finishes hid oper, the mobile would automatically retun to free mode wherein a call could pass throujgh....plz pass ur comments...

1. it's a great concept and i'd like to believe it's possible.
2. I HOPE THE DAY NEVER COMES THAT YOU WOULD HAVE A MOBILE WITH YOU ALL DAY EVERY DAY . THE PROBLEM IS.......HOW WOULD YOU DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN SLEEPING AND RELAXING , A NIGHTMARE AND ARGUMENT , BEING ON STAGE AND WAITING FOR AN IMPORTANT CALL...etc. THE SHORT ANSWER IS THAT IT EXISTS.......THE ON/OFF SWITCH AND VOICE MAIL . PERSONALLY , I WOULDN'T TRUST A SURGEON WHO EVEN CONTIMPLATED THIS .
