how i can become a 3g mobile technology specialist?

Hi, I have a computer science degree and I would like to study further, But I’m interested in Mobile and wireless technology specially the 3G Mobile technology and I would like to be specialized in the 3G Mobile technology . I wish someone can tell me what are the right steps to become an expert in wireless and 3G Mobile technology ? From his experience in that field, even if it needs me to having another degree or get a master related to this field.

I wouldn't worry about 3G, by the time you are an expert, Cingular and T-Mobile (GSM based) will have their new 3.5G protocols out and Verizon and Sprint (W-CDMA based)will already have their 4G protocols out. I suggest reading industry papers and doing some research on the chip manufacturers (Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nokia, etc.) who are driving the industry. With your background, you shouldn't have too much trouble understanding the technology once you get the basics down. Good luck - it's an extremely exciting and fast-paced field.
